Wendy and her husband, Richard Tendys, are CEOs of YouMe Support Foundation, a registered charity in Vanuatu. They provide funds for high school education to students in third world countries. Because there is no free education, many of these students will never see the inside of a high school classroom without outside assistance.

Wendy has been the author (aka Lyn Thomas) of tropic post for several years. She has recently launched the Geekoterre News Desk and Resource Centre and Geekoterre Trailblazers Club.

Their aim is to provide a safe environment where middle readers (and those who are young in heart) can Learn Through Fun. They are sites where young people can search out interesting topics from the past as well as cutting edge technology of the future.

Wendy is also  the author of The Three Ikes of Geekoterre a middle reader’s story about 3 triplet Geekos who live in Cyber Space and have all the fun of things like helodisplay comupters (have no screens) to understanding graphene, the strongest metal in the world and much more….
